Is it a two night minimum stay?
Yes, we have a two night minimum stay (even if you can see a single night is available on its own). Due to being a small team and the thorough cleaning routine we do not have the capacity to have changeovers every day.
Also we believe that staying only from 3pm to 10.30am the next day doesn't give you enough time to truly experience all the hut has to offer!

- Check in is from 3pm onwards

What comes in the breakfast hamper?
Usually a selection of: Bread, milk, butter, pastries, tomatoes, mushrooms, jam, marmalade, eggs, sausage & bacon.

How do I add the Bell Tent to my stay?
Our lovely bell tent is available to add to your shepherds hut stay over the summertime. Once you choose your dates on the hut, you will be shown the optional extras which, as well as the breakfast hamper, is where the bell tent will be.

The tent comes with mattresses / bedding / towels / books / games, and will be fully assembled when you arrive.
​
The price is £90 no matter how many nights you are booking.

Whats included in the "Dog Stay"?
We include goodies for your furry friends such as treats. We would suggest bringing your own dog beds to make your pooches feel at home but we'll leave a spare clean one in case you forget!

You can bring up to 2 well-behaved small dogs, the hut is not super spacious so bringing 2 large Labradors may not be very comfortable! One medium-large dog would be better for space.

Are the Shepherds Huts dog friendly?
The Honeysuckle Hut is dog friendly yes! If you'd like to book please add "Dog Stay" as an extra to your booking so we can expect your furry friend to accompany you!

The Buttercup hut is not dog friendly, so please do not book this hut if you want to bring your dog as unfortunately they will not be let in.

If you have a guide dog, please get in touch via phone / email / or our chat function.

Could I bring my child / children along?
We are happy for guests to bring their little ones along for the experience! Please mention that you will be doing so in the comment section on your booking or message us.

The huts have large beds - the Buttercup Hut has a pull out sofa, in the Honeysuckle Hut there is extra room for a travel cot. In order to book through our system please put 1 or 2 adults. There is no extra charge for little ones.

Or you can add our Bell tent to your stay for £90 for the entire stay!

We have to mention that the huts are originally built with adults in mind so there are a few potential hazard such as the wood burners. But if you are confident then we are happy - the more the merrier!

Is it a deposit to book?
No we take full payment upon booking not deposits, we do have a very flexible cancellation policy if you are concerned. It can be found at the bottom of our booking page.

It won't let me book even though it says those dates are available on the calendar?
We do occasionally have this glitch, which is to stop double bookings. Once someone has looked at those specific dates then they are blocked off for approximately 15 minutes from any other devises or searches.

The best thing to do is wait 15 minutes, and use a laptop or computer if you have one to hand. As it's usually you either changing devises or refreshing the page before booking which has meant those dates are now unavailable. Unfortunately we have asked our website provider to amend this but they can't.
